Terms of Service.

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. Service definition

ChinaAPI provides access to metered AI model APIs through the ChinaAPI gateway at dash.chinaapi.ai. ChinaAPI credits are prepaid, non-transferable account credits. They can be redeemed only against API usage through the ChinaAPI gateway, including supported text, image, and video model API calls. ChinaAPI credits are not stored value for third parties, are not money or cash equivalents, and cannot be cashed out, transferred, resold, or used outside the ChinaAPI service.

2. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your credentials and API keys, and all activity under your account. Keep API keys confidential and notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account or keys have been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use ChinaAPI for illegal content, abuse, security attacks, spam, platform manipulation, unauthorized scraping, infringement, or activity that violates applicable law or the terms and safety rules of upstream model providers. You must also follow published rate limits and any account-specific usage limits. We may throttle, block, suspend, or terminate access when needed to protect the service, upstream providers, users, or the public.

4. Pricing and billing

Model usage is billed against your ChinaAPI credit balance according to the applicable list prices shown at dash.chinaapi.ai/pricing, unless a written enterprise agreement states otherwise. Usage charges are based on the metered API activity for your account, such as model, token counts, image or video units, timestamps, and related billing metadata. Free trial or promotional credits may expire or be limited by account rules shown in the dashboard.

5. Availability

ChinaAPI is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific uptime, model availability, latency, output quality, or continued access to any particular upstream model. Service information may be posted at /status/, but the status page does not create an uptime commitment.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access, restrict API keys, or refuse additional top-ups if we believe an account is involved in abuse, illegal activity, chargeback risk, policy violations, security risk, non-payment, or violations of these Terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue, but urgent risks may require immediate action.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. Your continued use of ChinaAPI after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Operator and contact

The ChinaAPI service is operated by the owner of chinaapi.ai. Legal entity details are provided during enterprise onboarding and available on request. For questions about these Terms, contact [email protected].
